I have used it on badly stained automobile interior and it just "lifted" the deeply in-bedded grease/dirt from the layers below. Just be careful that you do not let anything painted or varnished "soak" in it, or you may find your finish "removed!" I discovered its powers as a paint remover after it stripped all the paint from the air-conditioning vents I put in the sink to "spritz and rinse." Whoops! Well, they are clean now! ;) It may seem a little pricey but I stash it away, requiring my family to request it so they do not waste it needlessly when a much less expense cleanser (or a little effort) would handle an easy task. You can just spray it on, let it sit, then wash it away, but it is MUCH more effective if you spray it on the stain, let it penetrate for a minute, then use a brush to scrub the formula in the stain, let it sit again, wash it away. I am tempted to hoard this product, less it ever become unavailable, that is how much I love it.

With the slightest scrubbing with a scotchbrite pad, the pots,baking pans, and appliances were clean, grease free and shiny! It’s not cheap.
