It’s soft and lightweight, yet keeps my baby warm and comfortable. I have been using it ever since I bought it - during the warmer months not too long ago (but with the AC on, of course) to the chilly morning/evening walks these days. May also work just fine for CA winters with baby dressed up in a few layers. It’s held up fine so far and looks like new even after repeated washing. The print (light brown and taupe animals on an ivory background) is fun and super cute - and I, for one, really appreciate that the colors are neither loud nor garish, the way most baby/child products are. I also like that it has a reversible side in a different color (grey) with soft, nubby bumps all over.
