I am 5'4" and 140 lbs and this float allows me to be in a slight body of water and stay cool on very hot days, but mostly exposed to the sun. If I want to be a little higher up out of the water I simply but another piece of a (broken) float under my upper body. So it allows me options: just the float: about an inch of water around my body; lifted up, no water around me.
