I ran it through my hunting knife sharpener to removed the rust and then honed and stripped the blade. Works well and is shaped great for shaving around and shaping my beard, which is why I chose this particular straight razor. The only reason I didn't give five stars is due to the cleanup I had to do on blade, other than that it looks great and fits my hand perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sharp, beautiful knife. I am from Texas and my knife is the same as my watch as I have to put them on every morning when dressing. That being said I have worn this blade every day since I received it a couple months ago. I would have given 5 stars accept I didn't like the sheathe. In my mind it didn't do the blade justice. The sheathe didn't have anyway to carry it , no clip or belt holes.
