I like the dial for the heat, it is incremental to get the same setting each time. The dial feels a little loose but did not turn unintentionally while using or bumping it. Heats up fast and stands up without falling over. I (and my kids) immediately waxed 5 sets of skis and 1 snowboard. This worked great the entire time.
