I have a 2004 Odyssey minivan with RCA auxiliary jacks in the third row of seats. All I had to do was plug in the two RCA jacks and charge the battery. Then go through the pairing with my iPad and this little device one time only. Now it will receive and play a playlist of music I have loaded on my iPad. I'm using Amazon prime. I do not have a data plan so the music has to be loaded on my iPad. But the device gives my car radio Bluetooth reception without having to hook anything up into the radio itself. I had tried the little FM systems tuned to a non-used frequency but that was a bust. I just got a combination of static and music at a very low volume. This gives me a clear signal and decent volume to my radio. I just set the volume all the way up on the iPad and I have control of volume, EQ with the radio knobs. I ended up having to completely remove it from the inside of the radio and keep it on the outside because it would not connect to my iPhone.I would just see flashing red lights on the inside blinking in error. So now I have to disconnect this product every time, and reconnect every time I want to use it, then wait for it to 'wake up' and start functioning. If I could do this project again, I would have gone with a more reliable product. I have it hooked up into my VGA cables in my Infiniti and I have the USB charger plugged into the cig. lighter. It sounds great but it keeps turning off while I am driving.
