However I used it on a skylight. Seem strong enough to me. Also the way security are defeated is by using a car jack to separate the bars. They respect the screens as legitimate boundaries but I worried that they might pop the screens out just leaning on them. These were a genius fix. I can pop them in the window frame and then the cats can't accidentally fall out.
