Just the right size to contain all my stuff without being bulky & heavy. Don't think you could carry a laptop though. Straps would tend to come undone after awhile.I carry a hardback book, some snacks, bank bag & writing pad to chemo & things fit quite well without all sinking into a bottomless pit.Not too tall, but tall enough to hold essentials.Oh yes, it has a flat bottom so that means it won't just sag & tilt over when set down on the floor. Zips up to conceal your things. I don't think it will be a purse to last for several years, but for the price, you won't be unhappy. Very lightweight & just a tad snappy. I don't like gaudy things & this fits the bill.
