This A5-sized greeting card features a detailed hand drawn illustration of Ringo Starr's Ludwig Black Oyster drum kit as used for The Beatles' famous Shea Stadium concert in 1965, from George Morgan. Produced from 350 gsm card, it will be supplied together with a quality white envelope in a clear cellophane bag. Ringo Starr’s Ludwig Black Oyster Kit from the 1965 Shea Stadium concert. Prior to leaving for their second American tour Ringo received his fourth Ludwig kit and the second with a 22” bass drum. With the bass drum came his fifth new Beatles drop-T logo drum-head. The logo was painted on a Ludwig Weather Master head, featuring a larger than previous Ludwig logo which is heavier and appears lopsided. Ringo used his fourth Ludwig set for the group’s 1965 American tour including their ground breaking concert at New York’s Shea Stadium. The illustration of this famous drum kit is original and has been produced by George Morgan following extensive research. The card is blank inside for your message. Size 210 x 148mm (8.27" x 5.83")
