A: The bigger fluke have a bigger yellow case. I would go next size up, to accommodate extra test probes also

A: Yes, this will fit an original Fluke 87(V).  That is what I ordered and use mine for.

A: I'm not 100 percent sure.  Once I get home I can measure it.  My Fluke may be a 789. Haven't been in my garage for a few months.  Been on business travel.
