Unfortunately, his very first time in the water with it, the tether strap started to unravel within minutes. I was able to knot what was left of it to the wrist piece so he could still use it, but I definitely wasn’t impressed with the poor quality of the strap that it did not even withstand a few minutes of gentle use (this was at Lake Michigan on a mildly wavy day).**Edited** Customer service responded promptly after I contacted them. They did not have the part in stock, but reimbursed me the cost to order a new tether leash from Amazon.
