The size is perfect, left about 1 mm of space around the edge of the screen. The installation is a bit tricky, since getting the protector installed without a few specs underneath is challenging, as it is on any product. Lesson learned: The screen was spotless, but the outer shield (there is a shield on either side of the protector that you peel off during installation) on the protector was covered with dust, even though I had just taken it out of the package, and unfortunately did not notice this until I was installing it. As I began peeling off the outer shield while I applied the protector to the screen, the dust quickly transferred itself from the outer shield to the protector and the screen. I peeled the protector back off before it was fully applied, since the amount of crud between the protector and shield was now terrible. Fortunately, there are 2 protectors in the package. I cleaned the screen again, and then I cleaned the outer shields on the protector with an alcohol pad and the screen cleaner included with the kit. The second protector went on virtually flawless afterwards. I'm a little disappointed that it took both shields to get a good installation, but at least it worked out good in the end. If the durability or other issues arise I will update this review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far great little protector *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2016* Fast shipping which is always appreciated! There's two in the pack so you can toss one in the glove box in case I need to replace it at some point. The material is a little thicker then what you would find for cell phone screen protector. It's nice because you're going to be pounding away at it on your dash with your fingernails, keys, and whatever else. I don't know about this brand but I've used ones before that are the static cling material rather than adhesive, there are much thicker and spongier to press, which is what I prefer. But this is still OK. There's no glare and no funny texture when you touch it. The only two things I didn't like about the product is that installation is not very forgiving on a recessed screen. I have a 2016 Dodge Challenger and the navi is set into the dash quite a bit. The other complaint I guess you would say is that the instructions for the product say it should be removed and replaced by the additional screen protector within a year. Obviously I haven't had the product that long so we'll see what happens when we come up on it. I would suspect for the price point nearly $20 it should last for longer than that but then again we'll see hopefully there'll be no yellowing of the adhesives, of which is a common problem with some cheaper adhesives. I'm also a little concerned about what residue may be left behind once you peel the film off. Hopefully nothing that will damage the screen itself. The static cling film I had on my 2008 Mustang's navi lasted for about seven years before I sold the car, no discoloration no wearing and easy to remove and reapply if you made a mistake. If in the future I find this product doesn't work out, I'll probably find another static cling product and cut it to size. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits the 8.4 screen very well *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2018* Super easy to install, make sure to clean the screen well before installation. Not sure if the included wipes are sufficient as I use a different cleaning product. It does reduce the appearance of fingerprints and smudges, but they are still visible. Install is easy starting from the top and slowly applying downward. The fit is good for the 8.4 screen. Two protectors are included and the instruction say to change them in a set timeframe...12 months I believe.
