Review: Great weight - I didn't want to buy some expensive weight set for my umbrella so I started to look at options. I found this bag and all it needed was sand, which I already had a couple bags in my garage. Just took a few minutes to pour it in and the place on the base. I was able to fit 2 full bags of sand, each weighing 60 pounds, so the full bag weighs 120 pounds. Highly recommend this product. A lot less expensive than other products out there.
Review: Great product - Works perfectly

## Features

- No More Tipping on Windy Days: Fill this patio umbrella base weight bag with sand, wrap it around any umbrella pole, and enjoy more peace of mind in gusty weather.
- Ergonomic, User-Friendly: Features side opening that lets you easily position base on any patio umbrella stand (no need to carry/lift when full). Larger opening for simple, no-mess filling.
- Won't Crack or Tear: While water-filled patio umbrella bases can crack, your new base won't. It's made of 900D Rip Stop, military-grade material with reinforced sides for extra sturdiness.

Works perfectly

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great but room for improvement
*by T***V on July 31, 2024*

This is a great product and works well for adding weight to an umbrella base but if using sand be prepared as it will get stuck in the zipper and leak out through gaps in the canvas material and zipper pulls. I ended up removing the sand due to this problem and refilled with pea gravel. Recommend adding a sealant/coating lining to the interior to reduce fill material leakage and water penetration. Adding a flap of additional canvas material to line and cover the inner portion the zipper to prevent leakage and damage to the zipper teeth. Also recommend adding a Velcro style fastening system to the exterior flap around the zipper to ensure the zipper is covered/protected from the elements and further reduce material leakage especially for those who use sand.
