Review: Mostly good - Overall, I really like this plane, the size, the form factor, the function everything seems to work really well the iron quality, however chips really easily. I would rather pay 10 or 15 more dollars just to get a little higher quality iron. I knew it was a great hand plane, it was sturdy, the brass is astonishingly beautiful. The bottom was manufactured great. There was nothing I had to do to the bottom. As far as sanding it to make it flush.
