    Food for thought!8 a great introduction to far to table

This is a cookbook and a good resource for what 'farm to table' means and how to apply the principles of the farm to table movement. The recipes are easy to follow and include ingredients found easily in grocery stores . The recipes provide information for using organic foods.the quality if the book is excellent. The paper used is thick and shiney. The picture quality is also excellent for someone not sure about what the recipe should look like. The cost of the book  is GREAT! The cost of the book makes it easily affordable. I plan on using this book as a reference for a class I will be teaching for a course:Farm to Table-a seminar for the beginner interested in organic foods and eating local and seasonal. Highly recommend this.

This book was not what I had hoped for.  The recipes were to fancy for farm to table, good for a fancy dinner if you need to impress somebody but not day to day I really wanted.  I only really used about three of the recipes then passed it on to daughter who is always having people over to her house for dinner.  She loved it.
