Ok so I saw the big profesional version of this recently and had to try one but smaller & cheaper. This arrived and within 5 mins of unpacking took it for a spin... Wow it is amazing! Come with instructions mainly in chinese and a couple of beater sticks etc... Didn't read instructions but will. Really good quality and makes so many various tones and sounds. I have it on a cajon with a tambourine inside, which is the extra sound in the video. I play a few instruments as an amatuer and to be doing this within 5 mins of unpacking in insane... Love it so much and can play for hours. Hands hurt a bit though.

Not bad sounding at all and my video doesn't do it justice. I found it far too quiet to play by hand so use the mallets only.My only complaint is that the colour doesn't look anything like the picture

    Sings beautifully

The 11 diatonic notes are great but you can also play it using only the pentatonic notes for a really ethereal sound. Mix both scales and it sounds wonderful. I wanted a 12 inch model and wondered if this would be loud enough and have a long tone. The 10 inch is more than up to the task. For the money I can't fault it and the case is great. Try playing the first few bars of Morning Mood from Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite, magic!
