Review: Had to be the Dualit... - There's nothing to dislike about the Dualit kettles in my personal opinion. I just bought the cream one to replace my red Dualit kettle that lasted for around 14 years. They're sturdy, and very elegant, and very reliable. And, there was a massive bonus to this purchase too, because my first Dualit kettle cost me around £160, this new one, exactly the same, just a different color, was half the price, £80, so I'm a very happy bunny. Someone said that it's hard to clean; definitely Not So! All you need to do is to fill it with half water, and half white vinegar, bring to the boil, let it cool, pour out and rinse; job done. I live in a hard water area, and way out in the sticks, and the tap water tastes like gritty soil, and often looks like it; so I have always used bottle water, and made sure that the bottled water comes from a soft water area. It does help, but these Dualit kettles are made to last. I would definitely Highly Recommend Dualit kettles, they truly are long lasting and sturdy. Review: Love this kettle - Fortunately I managed to purchase this Almond coloured Dualit kettle to replace my previous one which also matches my Dualit toaster. It’s a lovely kettle which boils very quickly. Because of the melamine the handle and base don’t get hot so it’s easy to lift even when full of water for anyone like me who suffers from arthritis. I love the look of this kettle and would highly recommend it. It’s on the pricey side but if it lasts as long as my other did it will be worth it. ## Features - RAPID BOILING: The powerful 2.4kW element boils water fast so you don’t have to wait long for your drink. Concealed in the kettle base, away from contact with water to reduce limescale damage, the Lite Kettle also has a safety feature that stops it from boiling dry if it is empty. Designed to be not only quiet but fast, it can boil enough water for two full cups in less than a minute and a half. - STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE: Unlike plastic kettles the Dualit Lite kettle features a high quality, polished 304 stainless steel body with canvas white trim. The handle features a soft silicon grip for comfort and lid has a heatproof, easy grip knob to protect users from hot water or steam. - NON DRIP: With a precision engineered, non-drip spout you don't have to worry about water dripping onto the kettle or your work top, meaning a safer experience for all users. - DUAL MEASURING WINDOWS: The BPA free windows feature cup measures on one side – perfect for tea drinkers! – and the other side measures water in litres – so you only need to boil the amount of water you need helping reduce water waste and improve the environment. - A BRAND YOU CAN TRUST: From our founding in 1945 we have continued to provide high quality, innovative products to make your life easier and more stylish. Our Classic Toaster has been hand built in the UK since 1952 and now we bring you its perfect partner, the Lite jug kettle. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07T6MRYDT | | Brand | Dualit | | Colour | Cream | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (220) | | Date First Available | 13 Jun. 2019 | | Item Weight | 1.7 kg | | Model Number | 72012 | | Product Dimensions | 16.6 x 22.2 x 26 cm; 1.7 kg | | Special Features | Concealed Heating | | Volume Capacity | 1.5 Litres | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Dualit - **Capacity:** 1.5 litres - **Colour:** Cream - **Material:** Plastic, Stainless Steel - **Special feature:** Concealed Heating ## Images ![Dualit Lite Kettle - 1.5L Jug Kettle - Polished with Cream Trim, High Gloss Finish - Fast Boiling - 72012 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61OB2Sk6ZpL.jpg) ![Dualit Lite Kettle - 1.5L Jug Kettle - Polished with Cream Trim, High Gloss Finish - Fast Boiling - 72012 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/713eg5ulkrL.jpg) ![Dualit Lite Kettle - 1.5L Jug Kettle - Polished with Cream Trim, High Gloss Finish - Fast Boiling - 72012 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71I44m-CrhL.jpg) ![Dualit Lite Kettle - 1.5L Jug Kettle - Polished with Cream Trim, High Gloss Finish - Fast Boiling - 72012 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71O6oihFmgL.jpg) ![Dualit Lite Kettle - 1.5L Jug Kettle - Polished with Cream Trim, High Gloss Finish - Fast Boiling - 72012 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712ie3AdRzL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what colour is canvas white** A: A pale creamy white which we thought might match our toaster but there is a slight difference. A blind man would love to see it. **Q: There are 2 red plastic markers inside, can they be removed?** A: No. The water level should not be above these red markers for safety reasons. **Q: The water filter has broke in a few places, can I buy a new filter replacement?** A: Spares can be found on the internet or by contacting dualit themselves **Q: Does this kettle have white U.K. plug and white cable please ?** A: Can't say whether it is the same for all kettle colour options but, for the white kettle I purchased, both the plug and cable are black. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had to be the Dualit... *by L***A on 4 January 2023* There's nothing to dislike about the Dualit kettles in my personal opinion. We bought the previous one a little over 5 years ago so to be honest I was a little disappointed it needed replacement. The element failed and isn't reparable. However we have stuck with the same kettle this time around as we have the matching toaster and it is a very good kettle in use. The design has been updated a little so you have litre markings on one window and cups on the other along with a couple of minor cosmetic changes. We'll just have to wait and see how long it lasts! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/148262768-dualit-lite-kettle-1-5l-jug-kettle-polished-with-cream](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/148262768-dualit-lite-kettle-1-5l-jug-kettle-polished-with-cream) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
