It's sturdy, and "living in AZ" I believe will hold up well in the heat/sun. I had another brand before, and it was frayed and discolored within two months. Someone in a review didn't like this one because it was "the correct dimension" for a flag. That's true, BUT, that person doesn't know that IF you have the correct dimension (more rectangle instead of square "ish"), the bottom is always getting stuck when you open and close the door. This one is better.
