The Faith of Mike Pence offers an intimate look at the man who calls himself “a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order.” Author Leslie Montgomery details Pence’s spiritual journey and examines how the vice president’s commitment to Christ has been a key component in his life as a husband, father, and public servant. Montgomery examines Pence’s encounters with politicos and evangelistic leaders such as James Dobson and Charles Lake. She shows the role of Pence’s faith in running for various offices, implementing faith-based initiatives, and responding to 9/11, the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the infamous Anthrax scare in Congress that directly affected him. The Faith of Mike Pence is a powerful account of one of the most conservative vice presidents in American history, with exclusive interviews and insightful commentary from friends, family, and colleagues. It is a serious and moving reflection about one of America’s most admired and respected politicians. Review: Honest and with Integrity - the Good, Bad, and the Ugly - I couldn't put this book down because the author did an excellent job of capturing and maintaining the attention of the reader. I loved the fact that it reveals his personal feelings and how he learned from allowing a negative campaign tarnish a potential future - good thing that won't happen again. He rose above the mud slinging and focused on the issues, which is how a campaign with integrity should be run. God is using Mike Pence in a mighty way as we trudge through the lies and deception of mainstream media, social media, and the current Democratic party's communist agenda. Review: Enlightening - This is one of the most positive, encouraging, blessed books, other than the Bible, I've read. I hated to come to the end as I wanted more. The author did a wonderful job gathering all the info from so many but of course all gratitude goes to Our LORD. It will be an inspiration to all Born Again Christians, world wide. I encourage all to read it.
