With the addition of 1 part reducer, 4:1:1, the primer can be used as a urethane surface for panel and overall repairs. Adding hardener then 2 parts of reducer, 4:1:2, turns this primer into a fast drying, non sand, wet on wet primer sealer. Tintable with up to 10 percent urethane mixing base. Can be applied direct to metal. Excellent build and surface leveling properties. Review: U-Pol error - The advertisement stated gallon but was sent out quarts instead of gallons. They could not even take care of the error. Review: Really great primer, mix to any thickness - I really like This primer. It self levels to a very nice finish. It's a little work to wet sand due to its hardness but sands to a very smooth finish. It did not need a lot of wet sanding as the surface was very smooth as sprayed. This primer is very very thick. I think you could even just add hardener with out reducer and use it as a glazing compound. Typical HVPL spray guns will not spray this with out reducing alot. With this primer you are buying primer and not a lot of solvent. Unless you have a spray gun that will spray cold honey you will need to order reducer as well as the primer and hardener. I mixed it 4:1:2 and 4:1:3 primer::Hardener:Reducer depending upon application. I used a 1.4 mm HVLP at 45 psi.
