When I saw this option for my aero bike I bought it right away. My bike has a 2.5" deep post so there are very few options to mount a light directly to the post and still have a bright light. The cygolite hotrod works great on my post and is very bright even in full sun. I ride a lot on highways and this is a great attention getter on the flash setting even in full sun light.Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent, bright, smart design (with one very small flaw) *by S***N on September 6, 2016* I've got about a dozen variations of this in what I call the "flasher graveyard" - a box of miscellaneous "tried it but didn't like it" stuff for my cycling habit. This one is the absolute best of them all. Multiple patterns including some soft ones (great for group rides so that you don't blind the rider behind you) and probably visible from the International Space Station. I mean this thing is BRIGHT. Easy to recharge and an indicator that clearly tells you when it's fully charged.One complaint, for which I am removing a star… you have to remove the flasher from the bike in order to charge it and that's a nuisance. The charging port should be on the *side*, not the back, so that you can leave it in the same position and charge it while still mounted to the bike.Other than that this qualifies as the best flasher I've ever used - and if you saw my "flasher graveyard" you'd know that was really saying something. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best tail light I have found *by T***S on January 14, 2016* This is the best rear tail light I have found for bicycle commuting.This light is very bright for its small size. (You could use it as a quick light to find something you dropped on the ground) The angle of visibility for this light is truly broad and will be visible to anyone behind you whether they are directly behind you or to the right or left.Another key thing about this light is that the mount is secure and you don't lose the light. I have lost at least three tail lights when they fell off my bike while riding home in the dark. (Even if you immediately notice that the light fell off, if it is too directional it can still be difficult to find) This light has never felt lose and has never fallen off.
