Review: V-10 install - I had my catalytic converter stolen from my f250 v-10 and this was one of the cheapest replacement options I could find. A muffler shop installed and they said there were no issues during the install. This has been installed for 1 week and it seems to be working just fine. Review: So far so good - These came promptly in good packaging. Had them installed at a local exhaust shop. I had kind of hoped that they would make the truck (2003 Silverado HD2500 6.0L) sound a little throatier but in truth i think its quieter than it was with the stock cats. Which is fine too. I do think that it feels like the engine breaths a tad bit better. Overall pleased, typical (excellent ) Flow Master quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality converter that fixed my check engine light and passed inspection. *by W***A on July 20, 2021* This converter was shipped received a few days after ordering which was great. The installation was a breeze and only took about 15 minutes, probably because when my old converter went I used a Sawzall and cut the old converter 3inch pipes with o2 sensors at the converter itself leaving the o2 sensors with about 1 foot on both ends, this left me with 2 short pipes with the original o2 sensors installed. I used a set of EVIL 3in outer to 3in inner pipe diameter connectors to attach the 2 small o2 sensor pipes that I cut off the old converter with the 3in outer diameter to new converter ends and the 3in inner sides that attached to the 3in pipes. Fit perfectly and no more light or codes on the dash or truck computer. Passed inspection and all is good now. Better gas mileage etc. Please note that I bought several different manufacturers of these clamps/connectors and EVIL has the best fit and was the most durable out of them all. I saved a boat load of money by buying this converter and installing it myself compared to a garage or dealer. This is definitely the way to go if you can do the work yourself which only requires cutting the pipes from the old converter , slipping the connectors over this converters ends and slipping the original exhaust pipes to the connectors. Just remember that it's important to make sure you make a straight cut when cutting the 02 sensor pipes from the old converter and wire brush or sand off the ends of the 2 pipes so it allows for a clean and tight fit into the connectors.
