They provide centrifugation speed up to 21,130 x g (15,000 rpm), with additional spin functions, to satisfy all lab applications. The operating concepts and overall design are based on in-depth ergonomic studies, making everyday routines faster and easier. The Eppendorf QuickLock rotor lid closure offers fast and reliable lid locking. The OptiBowl design allows for whisper quiet operation without rotor lid to reduce handling time. Refrigerated Model 5424 R has a temperature range from –10°C to 40°C. It maintains constant 4°C at maximum speed. A built-in condensation drain eliminates water accumulation and prevents corrosion. The FastTemp program is optimized for super fast eight minute pre-cooling and maximum temperature accuracy inside the rotor.
