Review: This is the stuff to use - I dyed a white cotton guaze top navy with Rit first because I didn't want to wait the 2 days for this to be delivered. It came out blotchy to say the least. When this came in, I re-dyed it and it came out perfect. No blotches and extra dark, just like I wanted. I followed the directions but didn't have washing soda so I just used way more baking soda to set the dye. I will be using this in the future. Good stuff. Worth the price.

**Q: How much liquid dye does each container make?**
A: It can make a lot of dye! I found a recipe card on the Jacqard website. It shows how much of each powder to make a certain color. Very cool!! For a 4-6 oz bottle, you only need about 1-2 teaspoons of dye.

**Q: How colorfast is this dye? Can the resulting fabric/clothes be washed with warm water?**
A: I have washed the shirts that I have Dyed in warm water and the color has remained bright and Distinct.

**Q: Is it possible to use this on clothing? Does anyone know how many t-shirts this will make?**
A: I used it on plain white t shirts and made 9 with one teaspoon of powder. I’d say you could easily color 100 shirts with 1 jar.

**Q: is jacquard dyes powdered or liquid?**
A: They are powder. Easy to use product with nice bright colors. This was a good purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ successful first ice dye

I got the dye color set and used medium blue, cobalt blue, and turquoise. I first soaked my dress in the soda ash solution for 20min, then I laid my dress on a polyester blanket and scrunched them together in random clusters of a few large tall scruches. the blanket helped me create bigger taller scrunches and did not absorb any of the dye and helped give me bigger patterns. I put some empty soda cans in the bottom of an old storage tub and put my scrunched blanket-dress structure on top. the cans helped elevate the dress so it wouldn't soak in the drain off. then I put ice to cover the dress and put dye on the ice and then put more soda ash cuz I saw online videos of ppl topping it off with more. after waiting 24hr, I rinsed it multiple times until the water was running more clear, put it in the washer alone and dried it. I was dyeing my dress for a festival and was going for watercolor effect. I saw online that ice dye is great for this and I'm super happy with how it turned out
