Very easy to connect **Q: How do you progam the remot(step by step).** A: My garage doesn’t have a “learn button”. It only has one button to push to program the controller. I tried programming the controller as soon as it arrived in the mail...didn’t work. Watched a YouTube video and figured out what I did wrong. Here are two tips: 1. Make sure you stand some distance away from the overhead door opener that’s in the ceiling of the garage (not far away, just not right up on it) and 2. Make sure your new controller has the censor facing the garage door when programming it. **Q: Is it possible to purchase just the rubber button?** A: You can purchase remote unit for reasonable cost. **Q: What size replacement cylindrical batter is used in the acsctg type 3 ?** A: I have an original Genie unit from circa 2005.
