They are very nice to look at and don't have a tightening gear to get in the way of hanging it up. I do the embroidery in a different hoop, but this one works well to frame it. The hoop is sturdy and holds the fabric tightly. It can be a bit tricky the first time you use one, so I suggest having a friend hold the fabric in place for you the first time or two.I wanted to make sure that my fabric would never loosen, so after putting the fabric in this hoop, I cut off most of the excess and hot glue the remaining bit to the inside of the frame. That way, I do not need to worry about it loosening and the back looks clean. I read other reviews that said they sewed it in, but this is even easier for those of us who are not as good at sewing.All in all, I think that it is a good product for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Only Hoops I use *by L***8 on Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2024* I have been doing hand embroidery for 6 years now and these are the only hoops I am willing to use... especially if I am doing a piece for someone else.
