Several of them bought their own and the kids do love having a go (under supervision!) I would not recommend letting a child use this without supervision as it is possible to go flying off it. I have seen progress with the children who own their own one and practice regularly. They can comfortably get more spins in now when not using the turning board. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great For Technique and Position *by on Reviewed in the United States January 25, 2022* My daughter is a 9-year-old competitive dancer. She was falling out of her pirouettes, so we got this to help her work on position and balance while turning. It has been so helpful. Her turns are much better as a result. Please note, you cannot go on releve on this board. This is strictly a tool for helping with technique and balance. It also helps with the movement of more revolutions for more advanced turns but is not for work on turns a la seconde. Do not use this board on wood floor. It will slip. This works best on a solid non-slip surface like a dance dot or a piece of Marley. Take it slow to start. Takes a bit to get used to using. Highly recommend for focusing on technique and balance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice product . . not just for dancers :) *by on Reviewed in the United States December 30, 2014* My daughter has been struggling with her turns. This product helped us to trouble-shoot her technique and figure out where she was getting off balance. There is a learning curve to using it (but that is half the fun). The main thing we don't like is that you need to stay flat-footed on it, which prohibits practicing turns where you need to raise up on your foot. We have it on a pre-finished hardwood floor, and it has had hundreds of turns made on it, and it does not mark the floor. As much as my daughter likes it, EVERYONE who comes to our house likes it even better. Friends, cousins, uncles, boyfriends . . . everyone wants to try it . . .and I suspect a few will be purchased for the "play" aspect. Some families gather around Wii, or some other game. . . ours has been hanging out watching people try the turning board. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ballet Is Fun TurnBoard, Purple (Official TurnBoard) - Stretching Strap With Door Anchor - Stretching Equipment to Improve Legs Flexibility - Splits Trainer For Home Ideal In Ballet, Dance, Cheerleading, Taekwondo, Yoga, Pole Dancing & Gymnastics - Ballet Is Fun TurnBoard - Blue (Official TurnBoard) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/14543925-ballet-is-fun-turnboard-the-original-ballet-turning-board-improve](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/14543925-ballet-is-fun-turnboard-the-original-ballet-turning-board-improve) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
