Review: Tundra 2011 5.7 - After changing my expansion valve with a new one, I used this 1/4 HP vacuum and AC came back to life. Gauges will help to diagnose what is going on with the AC system. I was quoted 1.5k dollas to fix it and I did it with a fraction of that money...... Learn how to read the gauges and seach for your AC freon capacity at the time of recharging the system other than going by pressures reding. Just add what manufacture recomends. If you go by pressure, it will be subject to ambient temps and IMHO harder to doing it properlly with house tools.. I end up returning AC compressor and ac condenser that I purchased since did not need them anymore. Saved 1.3k dollars😉 Check pics attached, they are for Toyota Tundras but might help to diagnose any brand since the same principals could be the same for all "I GUESS" . Reading the pressure on the high and low side will tell you what might be wrong. Hope this helps others...

**Q: will this pump recover r134**
A: Yes it will recover r134, as long as you have a recovery tank. This pump will recover almost all refrigerate except for the new 1234. Not sure of the process yet.

**Q: Can i change it from 110v to 220v ?**
A: While it may not be practical to do that, the answer to your question is yes. It will require a second piece of equipment: a step down transformer rated for the current of the vacuum pump, and with the proper 220v plug and 110v socket. Ultimately I would suspect that it would be less expensive to purchase a 220v vacuum pump.

After changing my expansion valve with a new one, I used this 1/4 HP vacuum and AC came back to life. Gauges will help to diagnose what is going on with the AC system. I was quoted 1.5k dollas to fix it and I did it with a fraction of that money...... Works great, pulls an awesome vacuum. But the pictures show multiple can/tap fittings. It only comes with a puncture fitting and a large bottle fitting. Does not come with a self sealing can tap. You’ll have to buy that separately
