Review: They work for thick honey but it’s a slow go and harder to push but they work - Used these for very thick Greek Honey and they work but not like pumping chocolate syrup. I was really surprised that they actually pumped the honey but the process may be painfully slow and hard for some. Don’t expect the pump to refill itself immediately if you have very thick honey so use two and then who cares how long the pump takes to refill if you need more than one pump full at a time. For thinner fluids these probably work perfectly. I had to use a pex tubing cutter to cut the bottom of each pump tube off so that they would fit into the short brown canning jars. Hey come with extension tubes but I had to cut the actual pump tube down to fit so that it wasn’t so close to the bottom of the jar restricting the thick honey. They do not drip at all if you make sure to release the pump over your bowl or glass and just wait a second for the pump to pull the liquid back in a little.

**Q: Was this suppose to have the plastic tubes included?**
A: Yes, ours had to hard plastic clear tubes that slide into the pump, you could cut them for length, if needed.

**Q: Are these dishwasher safe?**
A: The jar doesn’t indicate anything about being dishwasher safe. We cleaned it by hand using a bottle brush, hot water, and dish detergent. Better safe than sorry.

**Q: Would these pumps work for ketchup & mustard?**
A: They should.

**Q: Is this pump microwave safe?  Can it withstand boiling water?**
A: The glass jar is microwave safe, but the pump itself is not.
