Came folded rather than rolled, so it laid flat faster than any rug I have purchased. It is very thin but doesn't look it with a nice rug pad underneath (and at this price you can afford one!) The "threadbare" spots built into the design are a beautiful dark charcoal, and the remainder of the rug is ivory and darker tan. It can pull together both greys and browns in a room.
