My phone slipped from my hands as I was sitting on my sofa and landed squarely on my bare foot. The glass promptly broke. One big piece broke away and several smaller shards scattered on the floor. The glass is very thin and razor sharp. I can't believe this is supposed to be tempered glass. Luckily I was in my own home but can imagine different scenarios like being on a train or other public places. I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody and especially not teenagers who might not be as careful with their phones as I am. If I had dropped my phone from a great height then I would blame myself, but I didn't expect the glass to break so easily in the short distance it fell from my lap to my foot.
