Was going for a terracotta pot but found these spikes and had to give them a try.. just started growing borage(bee bush), strawberries, cherry tomatoes and holy basil in large pots and im just starting to see the growth. While the surrounding dirt looks super dry the baby plants look super green. I always had trouble with my plants at this stage they would already be yellowing because of watering issues. Not this time everything is so green and lush cant wait to see when plants are full grown. Also i dont know how, but i noticed one of my bottle setups had mosquito larvae swimming around. Was super shocked and still wondering how they got in. I actually quarantined the flower pot with that spike and leaving it alone for now to see if these critters find a way out. I dont think they will, but just in case i have the pot in a small growing tent waiting to see what happens Review: Good idea - Two were broken, even tho they were packed well!
