How to Use the Transfer Paper Initially you would create a design using graphics package or by other means, i.e free hand using a tracing paper. If you have designed a pattern on a computer, then the next step is to invert the graphics by turning the paper over or using the mirror feature within the graphics package. Print your design and stick it onto a flat surface. Now peel and tape the transfer paper on top of your design. Make sure the sticky side is up. Attach stones using tweezers, glue side up. Your design is now ready to be transferred onto a garment or other project. Invert and place the motif on to the garment. Please ensure hotfix rhinestones are sitting on the garment face up. Now use a hot iron using a protective cloth and place it on top of the film for several seconds. Check to see if the glue has melted underneath the stones and they are firmly attached. Continue the process as necessary until the stones are attached. Move the iron as needed to cover the whole design.
