Does one hard rain mean "start over"?** A: I use this for my hedge Red Tip Photenia that has leaf fungus. I was told the fungus is air born can be transmitted simply by a leaf falling from a landscape truck. AND is also spread from moisture-dew or rain that falls with in my city. So to stay on top of the dead leaf drop, I apply once a week in relation to rain fall. On weeks where there isn't as much rain, I may apply every three weeks. I think I get the best result/protection when the application is allowed to stay dry for at least 24 to 48 hours before a rain or sprinklers. I realize this is not exactly addressing your question, but felt it may be helpful to learn that the rain/dew may in fact be more of an enemy to your plight than simply washing the product away. This product is the ONLY thing that abated the fungus I mentioned. Spraying the grown below, trunk and each leaf is a necessity.
