Nailing boards needs to be operated according to the actual situation. If it is a lawn, it is recommended to be about 15 inches. There are only 35 combinations for this connection. If you need more, we have 200 affordable packages for you to choose. Hope it will help you, I wish you joyful life **Q: How thick are these stakes?** A: About the thickness of a 16 penny nail. They are better for lawn edging than strips than turf. **Q: How big is the head on these nails** A: I think heads are 3/8. the stakes are not good for holding brick edging in place. they r too skinny. maybe they would work only tighty compacted ground but 10 inch spikes work much better. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works much better than the hooks from lowes *by N***M on July 31, 2026* These actually go into the ground without bending and they actually keep the turf in the ground.
