We decided to give this seat extender a try to give her a larger and more flat surface in the back of our Mazda3 sedan with bucket seats. We chose this one due to the great reviews and the higher weight capacity compared to some of the lesser expensive options. We tried it for the first time today and were surprised by how easy it was to install and how well it fit in the car. We were also shocked to see the drastic difference in our pup's behavior during the ride. Before using this seat extender, one of us had to ride in the back with her to try to comfort her during rides, and she still wouldn't sit down. Today with this seat extender, she actually stayed sittting down in the back by herself for most of the ride. While she was still panting and drooling, this was a huge improvement for her. This seat extender is sturdy and stayed put while she sat in the middle of the backseat up towards the back of the middle console, making the ride safer for us both. I'm really happy with this purchase and look forward to less stressful car rides for us both. Review: Best car hammock yet - My dogs love this! Fits in my Subaru crosstrek and itโ€™s very sturdy. It can be a little slippery but we have another cushion that goes over it and it prevents my dogs from slipping. Easy install, very easy to clean and worth the $ ## Features - ๐‹๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ž ๐‡๐š๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง - ๐Œ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ฆ, ๐… Unlike cheaper dog back seat extenders that use 6 or 8 small hard boards, URPOWER uses 3 large-size hard bottom panels to create a wider, flatter, and more stable dog car bed. It expands your back seat by 45%, giving medium to large dogs more room to sit, lie down, and stretch during road trips, daily drives, camping, and vet visits. ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ : Built with a reinforced hard bottom and stable 3-panel structure, this hard bottom dog seat cover supports up to 550 lbs and helps bridge the gap between the front and rear seats. Unlike soft hammock-only covers or small-panel designs that may sag, buckle, or shift, it creates a flatter, more secure surface for one large dog or multiple dogs during braking, bumps, and long rides. Hard bottom adds stability, but comfort matters on long rides. This dog car seat cover features a 9-layer structure with high-resilience foam above hard panels to reduce the stiff feel of hard boards. Padded surface cushions your dogโ€™s body and joints, making long trips more comfortable for large breeds, senior dogs, and pets that spend time in the back seat. Made with 900D wear-resistant Oxford fabric and a dual PU + TPU waterproof barrier, this waterproof dog car seat cover helps block muddy paws, spills, drool, pet hair, scratches, and sharp claws before they reach your seats. Reinforced seams and edge piping help reduce leaking, tearing, and wear, keeping your back seat cleaner after hikes, beach trips, rainy rides, and park days. - ๐Œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก ๐–๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ฐ, ๐’๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐๐จ๐œ๐ค๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ & ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ ๐…๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ: The breathable mesh window improves airflow and lets your dog see you, which may help reduce travel anxiety. Two large storage pockets keep leashes, treats, toys, and waste bags organized, while the included dog seat belt, non-slip backing, strong headrest straps, and reinforced buckles help keep the cover and your pet more stable during the ride. - ๐๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐…๐ข๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐Œ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐’๐ž๐๐š๐ง๐ฌ & ๐’๐”๐•๐ฌ: Measuring 52" x 24.8", this dog seat cover for back seat is designed to fit many compact sedans, midsize sedans, compact SUVs, midsize SUVs, large SUVs, and full-size SUVs. For the best fit, please measure your rear seat area before purchase, especially if your vehicle has captain chairs, an oversized center console, or a narrow back seat layout. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07R2JLR4V | | Auto Part Position | Rear | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,369 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #26 in Dog Car Seat Covers | | Brand | URPOWER | | Brand Name | URPOWER | | Color | Tan | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 5,896 Reviews | | Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Included Components | 1 | | Item Highlight | Supports 550 lbs, Stable 3-Panel Hard Bottom, Added High-Density Foam for Comfort, Waterproof 900D Oxford, 45% More Space | | Item Type Name | SC-009 | | Manufacturer | URPOWER | | Manufacturer Part Number | SC-009 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | one year guarantee | | Material | Premium High-Density Foam Padding, Reinforced Hard Bottom, Double Waterproof Layer | | Material Type | Premium High-Density Foam Padding, Reinforced Hard Bottom, Double Waterproof Layer | | Model Number | SC-009 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Dog Car Seat | | Seat Cover Placement | Back Seat | | Seat Cover Protection Level | Waterproof | | Special Feature | Supports Up to 550 LBS, Waterproof, Non-slip, Scratch Proof Car Seat Cover | | Special Features | Supports Up to 550 LBS, Waterproof, Non-slip, Scratch Proof Car Seat Cover | | Target Audience | Dog owners | | UPC | 713924819343 | | Unit Count | 3.5 Pounds | ## Product Details - **Auto Part Position:** Rear - **Brand:** URPOWER - **Color:** Black with Orange - **Fit Type:** Universal Fit - **Manufacturer:** URPOWER - **Material:** Premium High-Density Foam Padding, Reinforced Hard Bottom, Double Waterproof Layer - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Dog Car Seat - **Special Feature:** Supports Up to 550 LBS, Waterproof, Non-slip, Scratch Proof Car Seat Cover - **Target Audience:** Dog owners - **UPC:** 713924819343 ## Images ![URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs, Large Hard Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/819EUrnAafL.jpg) ![URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs, Large Hard Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81EnqCkYEJL.jpg) ![URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs, Large Hard Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81t6o-YzolL.jpg) ![URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs, Large Hard Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ElmnPMbGL.jpg) ![URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs, Large Hard Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81j7OJWyYlL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### โญโญโญโญโญ Great Purchase *by S***H on August 2, 2026* Our 65lb bully pitty mix pup gets anxious and has a hard time keeping her balance during car rides. We were skeptical, but after first use we were sold. This works. After all the car sickness, drooling, and restlessness this was a very welcomed find. Great fit, well constructed, and easy install and upkeep. And we got it all for much less than many of their competitors. Glad we got this. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - ๐Ÿ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** โ€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - ๐ŸŒ **Shop Globally** โ€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - ๐Ÿ’ฐ **No Hidden Fees** โ€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - ๐Ÿ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** โ€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - ๐Ÿ”’ **Secure Payments** โ€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - โญ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** โ€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/142545397-urpower-back-seat-extender-for-dogs-large-hard-bottom-dog](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/142545397-urpower-back-seat-extender-for-dogs-large-hard-bottom-dog) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
