So far I have only charged my phone twice from it so I am not sure how many times it fully charges a phone but it being at least twice I think is great. The case has an on / off button. The only think is that it covers your phone exactly to the screen size, so I would recommend a screen protector as it doesn't have that overlap edge (I have an XS). Also is easy to charge, you just connect it to your regular iPhone charger. I used it in both a 2016 Honda Civic and 2018 Sentra and can confirm both work for carplay.
