Le assicelle hanno simboli che rappresentano: numeri, forme geometriche, frutta e verdura, animali, indumenti. A turno le assicelle si incastrano in appositi fermi posti sul coperchio della scatola e al bambino non resta che individuare le tessere di legno col disegno corrispondente e infilarle nella fessura corrispondente. E' un gioco per la psicomotricità molto valido, da fare inizialmente insieme ad un adulto. Adatto a bambini riflessivi ma anche a bambini molto attivi, per sviluppare le capacità di osservazione, di gioco finalizzato. Il fatto che i pezzi finiscano ognuno al suo posto, rende il bambino molto soddisfatto di aver portato a termine il gioco. La qualità del legno non è eccezionale ma per 17 euro va benissimo. Come già indicato da altri, ci sono 5 tipi di schede e relativi tassellini (vedi foto). Le schede e la scatola non hanno problemi, mentre alcuni tasselli (nel mio caso in particolare quelli dei numeri) non sono rifiniti benissimo e ho dovuto dare una carteggiata per evitare le piccole schegge.
