I purchased the kit to use at work with the JVC receiver I bought. The Sirius antenna is very strong. Even if it's pointed at an outside wall in the Southern side of the building, It picks up the satellite with no issues. It hasn't been necessary to put the antenna in a window. The cradle holds the receiver securely.
