Review: excellent - The Seagull IV is excellent. Small, easy to install and the filter lasts for over a year. It's pricey but worth every penny. This is our second purchase. The first purchase was in our previous home and was a popular selling point when we sold our house. When we moved to our current home this water filter was enormously missed so we bought it again. It's hard to live without it. The water is pure and delicious, easy to fill containers from the mini faucet that comes with it and looks great on our sink.....we absolutely love it and I trust it.
Review: it is useless. Water tastes just as nasty as it does ... - It does NOT eliminate tank taste. Bought this because of small 'footprint' compared to other purifiers even though it had a MUCH higher price tag. Now after cutting water hose, installing and drilling a 3/4 inch hole in my counter top, it is useless. Water tastes just as nasty as it does coming straight from the tap. It was easy to install and would be perfect if it worked!

My brother-in-law started me on the Seagull water purified in New York. When I moved to Florida I had a Seagull in my condo. I bought a new house and my contractor installed a GE purified and when I tasted the water it was terrible! So I bought Seagull and I am very,very happy with the taste of this water. It has no taste or smell of any chemicals that the GE purifier had. It was the best bang for my buck!
