I can't wear this alone, as it shows every crease and pore. It doesn't apply as well, and I even used the same brush. It's lighter than I expected it to be, and I have very fair skin. However, I bought some Naked brand liquid base, which I love, and I wear this as a sort of "mineral veil" over top of that. It does a pretty good job as a powder instead of a base.
