Great setup and easy to understand. My wife uses it now coaching rising business women and single moms trying to get their feet under them again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bonnie's Household Budget Book *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2010* This book is a real gem and useful for everyone regardless of one's tax bracket. It has helped me understand how I [and now my family] spend money and gave me the answer to that all-important question: "Where Does the money go?" She provides work sheets that one can use or not, according to one's understanding of one's money. I recommend reviewing and reworking the work sheets every year or so since finances and financial goals can change as time goes by, needs change, and finances shift. This book is a must for young adults first setting out as well as for older folks who need to get a handle on spending and saving. Very user-friendly.I involve my children [ages 7 and 11] in the family budget and using this book. It is important that they learn at home that a finite amount of money comes into the home and a finite amount of money can leave the home. It has been a powerful teaching tool.And finally, most importantly, this book helps one prioritize when and how one spends or saves. There are some purchases that I have waited on, specifically because I did not want to write it in the book. I have also challenged my family to get through one day a week in which no purchases are made and savings are added to. I saw this planner in a store but didn't buy it because the spiral was broken. I ordered it here instead and it was in perfect condition. However, after about 10 minutes of use the plastic spiral was already coming out of the pages & cover. For a budget planner that will get used a lot, that isn't ideal.
