I had read these amazing books several times in paperback years ago & kept checking often for them on Kindle. I'm thrilled to be able to read them again. Emily Rodda is a fantastic author & her books are so clever, enchanting & terrifying at times. Reading about Lief, Barda & Jasmine's journey is exciting & nail-biting. I'm excited for book #2. It's been too long. These books are phenomenal for all ages. However, it took a sight seeing trip on it's way here and didn't arrive when specified. I was very disappointed that it didn't arrive with pictures of its adventure. Apparently when it arrived in the hub in Atlanta, instead of making the nice day trip up to Woodstock to arrive on time, it decided to go to Knoxville and showed up three days late. I'm not entirely sure what it did in Knoxville (I'm guessing what happens in Knoxville stays in Knoxville), but some travel pics would have been entertaining.
