All the reviews give it very middling reviews and let’s be honest here as far as these mini consoles go this guy isn’t cheap. I’m here to say I’m very happy with my purchase. The emulation isn’t the best on the big screen (using on a 60” Vizio 4K) but it’s by far acceptable given the plug and play aspect of it. The controllers feel very premium and I’m very much enjoying my time playing with it the last few hours. The built in controls I don’t bother with because I’m a adult with adult size hands so it’s more of a neat factor in that regard. This set includes 2 controllers and everything you need to get started and that’s why I went ahead and bit the bullet on the special edition. Also, I liked the lineup better cause I was more into samurai showdown then I was king of fighters. All in all, I’m pretty happy with my purchase and I know it comes at a premium price. Yes, there’s the raspberry pie emulation setups out there but the mileage varies and I just want to plug/play and not have to jump through 50 hoops to play a game with the kids that I enjoyed when I was their age. If you’re a neo geo fan and want a no fuss solution I say bite the bullet and treat yo self. Review: Would Not Recommend - Cheap Build Quality - 1st unit arrived (White/Clear Haohmaru edition) and controller was broken with thumbstick loose in the box - requested a replacement - rec'd 2nd unit and it was the complete wrong unit (desertcart sent me Red edition instead of White/Clear edition). Joystick on red edition did not move left so I fully returned the defective unit. This was still worth it! You can set the sytem language to english easy enough, the games remain in japanese though. Not a big deal at all. Mine came with an awesome little metal slug no slip pad for it as well, not sure if the image is random but it was a nice little extra. I wouldnt hook it up to anything other than a crt tv if you still have one.
