Bestia "Rocky Studded Dog Collar. Hand Made. French Bulldog to German Shepherd, 1 or 2 inch Wide, 100% Leather, Soft Padded, 7 Sizes, Made in Europe

I had really high hopes and planned on ordering white a few beastia collars. But after my first one I’m turned off completely. First there was a sizing issue. They didn’t take into consideration the padding when they did the sizing. They run small. I’m a collar addict, and make them in my spare time so I’m very much used to sizing and measurements. Take my advice and order up if your dogs are anywhere from the mid to the high end of a size. I had to reorder. My poodle is not a large dog at all, he measures less than 16 inches. But, the medium I could t even buckle and the large is on the second to last hole snugly. While that was annoying I’d only take off one star. The real disappointment was the quality. I’ve seen these collars in person on friends dogs. They were nice. The collar I got, not so much. The edges of the color were not finished. There was no burnishing or coating at all. I could see the tan hide coming thru the day it arrived. But only 2 weeks of wearing it (not even full time), my collar looks like this. Because there was no finishing on the edges, the tan is completely showing and is fraying so to speak. My dog is so gentle on gear, so this is crazy. It looks messy and undone, and I’m so disappointed. I was really looking forward to this collar and wanted more done, but not if this is representative of the work :(.

If you go through the many pages of dog collars on Amazon and narrow the search to studded dog collars, you will read review of how one cheap Chinese collar after another lasted only a few weeks. Then this relatively expensive French made collar jumps out at you. It is extremely well made, with a lining, reminding me of custom. made gunbelts and holsters. My original pair have not worn out, The pups outgrew them, so we got two more. The original collars had studs that looked like they had points. They couldn't hurt anyone but looked great. I guess they got politically correct, These have flats instead of points. Still they look great, and I don't expect to need anymore since the pups are fully grown now.

Or would be nice if this could be as strong and attractive as this is, but with ventilation too. I bought this for my dog because of aggressive dogs and lazy owners in a dog park. A dog ripped my dogs tag off and was going for his neck. I generally avoid the park now but if there are few dogs that day he has this collar on which is more protective but still doesn’t have pointed spikes on it!! It looks great in him! Thank you fir a really nice sturdy and attractive collar- when it gets hot I’m not sure about it..,

My Bestia collar arrived today. It fit perfectly on my dog (around 60lbs). I got the XL, his neck is around 19". It was just enough room. It is high quality workmanship, not frayed as one other reviewer suggested. My dog was recently attacked by an off-leash pitbull-type dog that had his neck and wouldn't let go. I bought this to help protect him. But it also makes him look handsome and I like the blunted protruding studs as opposed to sharper spikes. Best collar I found on the web. Thank you.

So disappointing. The quality and look is great. The collar is too small. My dog has an 18.5" neck so I got the large (up to 19.7") and it's too tight on the last notch; I can barely fit one finger in between the collar and her neck. I'll be returning. I wish they had a diagram like other collar manufacturers do. They post a reccomended size to order for this or that sized neck and the measurements for the first and last holes as well as the lengths of the collars. :/

Finally a collar with flash and COMFORT! My GSD loves the nice padded fitting & soft studded leather around her neck. size L her neck size measures 16 so the large was perfect with some room to spare. Goes nicely with the rest of her wardrobe:) Beautifully made. Nicely boxed too.

French mastiff and Neopolitan mastiff both love these collars. They are very well made. White shoes dirt but cleans easily. They both look pretty bad A$$ in them. Pricey but a great product. Feels more comfortable than the last collars I had for them from another brand. The inside is padded well.

Yesterday I received this collar, everything about it is perfect, the quality, the leather, the hardware, the chrome, the craftsmanship, the packaging, everything is top notch, absolutely worth every penny.By the way, my dog also loves it, it is very comfortable.I also bought the leash to match.

Anfänglich total super, leider rosten die halsbänder an den nieten und verbindungsstücken. Sehr schade, ansonsten wären diese super halsbänder.

Passt perfekt und ist gut gepolstert. Sieht aus, wie auf dem Foto abgebildet. Sehr schön für meinen Yorkshire Rocky. 🐶
