We ordered this collar for one of our dogs that liked to bark at it's own shadow. Just the low tone and vibration setting has stopped the extranious barking. The collar worked so well we bought a second one for our watchdog. If there is really something to bark at, the dog barks, ignoring the low setting we have it on. If it's something not urgent such as another dog barking in the distannce, which previously elicited a low urgency need for competition, the collar tone and vibration is enough to distract her and stop the barking. We take the collars off one day a week for a couple hours and recharge them with the USB cable.
