As soon as I took the plastic wrap from the outside I knew there was a problem. A nice shiny liquid everywhere. Opened the box and everything looked normal...WTH I thought. Then opened the box for the beard oil..the cap with the dropper was broken off and every bit of oil was gone. Can anyone guess why I wanted this set...yup...the beard oil. I saw other reviews saying this had happened to them and I thought surely they have fixed this problem. NOPE!!!. I guess now it's up to me to get another bottle. **UPDATE** Contacted Amazon about this. After speaking with a really rude woman who literally told me that I didn't understand like I'm an idiot, I decided that the options that she gave (my perogative according to her) were not what I wanted. First time having an issue with Amazon like this and seriously thinking of cancelling my subscription after this. UPDATE #2: I decided to contact the seller since Amazon screwed the pooch on this one. I e-mail and all was solved. New box arrived perfectly and quickly. I immediately noticed a huge difference both in the softness and manageability of my beard. While I keep mine at 1.5-2”, it still has a few spots that simply do not stay in shape well. I’ve used beard wax in an attempt to control it, but it usually only leaves a greasy looking beard and does not work very well. Maybe it would work for a very short beard, but not mine (which is not that long compared to many others). I immediately fell in love with this scent, it’s very subtle and refreshing. I get small whiffs of it throughout the day, and it is very pleasing. The thing that really sold me on this particular brand was another reviewer who has a simply majestic “wizard” style beard who recommended it (he has an amazing beard!!). This is the first one I’ve tried, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it works as advertised and is more affordable than other brands. I ordered one bigger container, but for whatever reason I actually received two smaller containers totaling a little more Actual product than I ordered, which was unexpected, but nice. After seeing how little it requires to be effective, I plan on gifting the other container to a good friend of mine who is growing his beard out. All in all, a great product all around, and I recommend it. I should add that I have always used beard oil, but I apply it to the skin on my face rather than combing it through my beard, as I get better results with relieving itchiness, especially during the colder and dryer season.
