I have 2 pairs of 559s I bought back in 2008, same size as the two new pairs I just received today from Levis dot com, and the older pairs are roomier in the thighs...with the new ones, I couldn't bend my knees comfortably. So they're going back, will have to try the new 569s, which are supposedly "Relaxed Loose Jeans"...will keep my fingers crossed that they will not be of the opposite extreme! Bummer...I guess this is the price of outsourcing production.UPDATE 12/01/12: just got the 569s...problem solved! These fit perfectly, like the OLD 559s used to fit. My guess is that since Levis are now produced offshore, they downsized/slimmed-down all of their jeans so that they can be sold in the Asian market too instead of having to make two separate production lines. ### ⭐ Fake Levi's. These are a knock-off product! *by C***D on January 15, 2018* I have a long history with this cut of Levi's, and this particular pair, made in Cambodia, are just a bit slimmer than the last pair that came from Mexico. These are cheaply made pants without the characteristic orange stitching, sold under the Levi name and made out of lightweight denim. The fabric is obviously thinner and woven less densely than the Levi's I grew up with and have come to expect, and I fear that they will wear out quickly. I am glad that a worker in Cambodia has a job making clothing. That seems reasonable to me. I just wish that the "used-to-be" American company Levi Strauss would hold to their old standards, and when they contract out to the global market insist on fabrics that meet American standards. At the very least, this product should be described as "levi's" with a lower case "L" and being of lightweight, and not middleweight, material! ### ⭐ Size is not consistent *by L***Z on March 5, 2017* Don't know if these are authentic Levi's jeans but I surely bought it thinking they were. I had the exact same model, size, and color that I bought a year ago that ripped. Since I like it so much, I decided to buy me a new one and got them on the expected date, as usual, but then, when I tried them on, what a bummer; the pants were NOT the same size (36W x 32L, if that matter), even though it said so on the label. Either these are not authentic Levi's jeans or the quality is no longer on the list of things the company cares for.
