Had to add my own adhesive in spots, but well worth the effort. They are still bright, all lights are still working, and the have been reliable. We put these around the ceiling in our son's bedroom and game room. The adhesion is AWFUL. We have had to make several attempts to find the right tape to make them stick. The connectors don't hold tightly so keeping a constant connection is difficult...They're never touched at the height they're at but we still find one strip on and the next off or it's a different color altogether. Takes more time and attention than it should, but the boy loves it so, onward. Strips are flexible and easy to cut.
