I have used it in both humid and arid environments with no problem. I usually stand in garage or in doorway spraying outwards. Even when Im all the way outside, it is no problem. Just shake as instructed and spray. I realize some might have different experiences but I've used this in Yuma, AZ to Jacksonville, NC to Houston, TX and now Dallas, TX. So extreme temp and humidity. As long as it is listed as TES 1260 I assure you it is the Dullcote. Sorry for any confusion this may cause. **Q: Is this oil based?** A: It is hydrocarbon based: petroleum propellant, liquid alcohols, ketones, and petroleum distillates. Vapors from spraying are flammable; harmful if inhaled-so use with plenty of ventilation. **Q: Can it be used to reduce glare from glass on pictures?** A: I would thing using "non-glare" glass would be much better. **Q: Is clear coat and dull coat the same product?** A: No. Dull coat is clear, but it removes the shine from a glossy surface. Clear coat is used to put a glossy finish on your surface, so a dull surface will become shiny. A good example is that if you spray clear coat on a piece of clear plastic, the result is shiny but clear (looks the same as before it was sprayed).
